International Mother Language Day 2023

The opening ceremony of the art event to celebrate the International Mother Language Day 2023 turned out to be one of the most creative one.

It was created by UNESCO to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism… quite a thoughtful initiative started by Bangladesh & approved by UNESCO in 1999. Since then, it’s been celebrated across the world. However, it was celebrated with arts for the very first time.

The opening of the event was done by His Excellency Suhail Mohd. Al Zarooni & Sultana Kazim Ma’am. Thanks a lot for your presence & for always being there to support us.

Thanks a lot To Mr. Khalil Abdul Wahid & Mr. Faisal Abdulqader for gracing the event by their presence. Our heartiest thanks to Mr. Varun, Mr. Ahmed Al Awadhi, Mr. Danny Wang, Mr. Samir for coming & supporting us.

The event was divided into 3 sections…. Art exhibition, live painting & a short poetry session. 40 artists displayed their beautiful artworks, which will be on display for a week at DIAC, Jumeirah.

In the live painting, Art was written in 50 different languages on 50 small canvases…. this was done not only by artists, but also by our Honorable guests His Excellency Suhail Mohd. Al Zarooni & Sultana Kazim Ma’am contributed by writing in Arabic & Persian. Thanks to Dubai Library for providing us all the canvases & colors. They are certainly a one stop shop for all the art material requirements.
